Megan Wood is a Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience. Megan has had the pleasure of living and working in Chief Drygeese Territory, the traditional lands of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation since 2015; commonly known as Yellowknife.
Megan currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Registrar of the College of Nurses of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (CNNN), a position she has held since June 2024. Overseeing significant transformation, she ensures the organization’s effectiveness in fulfilling its legislative mandate to protect the public interest, develops high-level strategies for health regulation, and nurtures strong relationships with regulatory stakeholders across Canada.Â
