Bradley is the founder and principal of The Regulator’s Practice. For the last ten years Bradley has worked with professional regulators across Canada as both a consultant and an executive leader. Most recently Bradley served as the Chief Officer, Strategy and Governance for the newly formed BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), leading two regulatory amalgamations, building a modern governance framework from the ground up, and providing governance advice to regulatory leaders and boards across the country.
In 2021 Bradley was named the Governance Professionals of Canada’s Governance Professional of the Year for his work influencing and supporting modern, inclusive and effective regulatory governance modernization within Canada.
The Regulator’s Practice works with professional regulators across Canada supporting governance and strategy challenges and evolution. Bradley is often called upon to support regulators as they move through regulatory amalgamation discussions and processes – most recently supporting the amalgamation of eleven B.C. health regulators amalgamate into two multi-professional regulators.
Bradley grew up on a five-generation family grain farm in Saskatchewan. He attained his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary and practiced law for over a decade. As a practicing lawyer, he served as the chief of staff to the Attorney General of Alberta and as a Governance Associate with WATSON Advisors. Bradley obtained his executive coaching certification in 2010 from the Hudson Institute of Coaching. He attained his B.A. in Economics from McGill University and his I.B. diploma from the United World College (UWC) in Montezuma, New Mexico.
